Apple expects to publish, iOS 5 in the coming months bring an improved alarm system, wireless synchronization, and integration icloud IOS. If you have an Apple developer account, you can install the beta version of IOS to 5 right now. In fact, you have now shown that to do for months. But last night iH8sn0w hackers released a new tool that allows you to install iOS 5 beta 5, even if you do not have a developer account.
What you need is Sn0wbreeze 2.8 Beta 5 and the latest Apple firmware. If you can run Sn0wbreeze custom firmware for your device based on iOS 5 beta build, and there is an option to remove the checkmark UDID developers. She is also the beta-timer - which means that your beta software will not expire when the official beta period expires.
This means you are probably still better to wait for Apple to launch publicly in order iOS 5 Beta before installing on your iPhone, iPod touch or iPad. But if you have OK unsupported with running software on your device, you understand that you are seriously upset your system if something goes wrong, and you're not really willing to pay $ 99 for a developer account, I think now There is another possibility, iOS 5 beta 5 on your device.
Sn0wbreeze 2.8 Beta 5 supports the iPhone 3G and iPod touch until the third Generation and higher, and the original iPad. In addition, you can to install iOS 5 beta, is Sn0wbreeze Jailbreak OS for you - but it is a tethered jailbreak, you need to connect to your mobile device to your computer and launch the software again, if you mean a reboot .

Ikea Catalogue apps for Android
Ikea Swedish supermarket has released a digital version of its popular catalog for Android devices. That's the good news. I know people who treat the catalog like a magazine, and scroll to the fun, even if they do not buy.
The bad news is that the app will not install on an SD card, so if you install it on an Android-powered smartphone, it is 50MB download images, text and other data, leaving little room on the phone for other applications.
The catalog contains over 4,000 images and over 2,000 products. You can flip through the pages, jump to one side after the visit number, first shall be last, previous, or next, or zoom out for a better view. There is also a tablet of contents, bookmarks feature, and you can search the catalog text. If you tap on the plus sign next to a product that you will find a detail page with a picture, price and more information.
Ikea rolls out the catalog app in stages around the globe. The U.S. version went live earlier this month. It will hit Spain, China and other places soon ... including Sweden, where it will be available Thursday.
Ikea app is basically just a portable catalog - but if you want to use for an application to in-shops, you might want to check, free (and unofficially) Ikea picking list, keep track of the items you want to get help on the business of self-service area, as you stroll through the aisles.

Vonage delivers new Time to Call app for iOS
Internet phone company Vonage has a new iOS releases app called Time-to-Call allows you to make calls over the Internet from your iPhone or iPod touch. It works with both WiFi and 3G, but 3G function is currently exclusive to the U.S. and Canada.
Time to Call is free with your first 15 minutes of talk time and 190 different countries, but that promotion is a limited time offer. After the trial period, the price is for a 15-minute international call to a flat rate of 1.99 or less, by 100 countries.
The prices are higher for the 90 other countries can call Time to reach, with prices of $ 2.99 to $ 9.99. You can discover more country-specific prices by Vonage, the new Web tool.
Overall, the prices seem to be a little higher than Skype's rates, which start at $ 0.02 per minute for domestic and international calls.
But a particularly handy feature of time-to-Call is that it bills directly through iTunes, rather than his own client or a third party site such as PayPal. Also for a limited time unused minutes can be used for further discussions (also known as a rollover.)

iOS 5 beta 5 released to developers
Apple has another beta version of iOS 5 pushed to developers. The latest version includes a number of updates, including enhancements to the service enables icloud with your data on Apple's servers Backup and synchronize music, photos, documents and other files.
The folks at BGR have published the full changelog and for the most part it looks like iOS 5 beta 5 offers bug fixes and improvements in stability, rather than new features. But there are also some known bugs still affect the preview version of iOS 5 and Apple will likely spend some time fixing this before the release of the software to the public.
Just like the previous beta, users can download iOS 5 Beta 5 as over-the-air update over WiFi or 3G. Or you can use your iPhone, iPod touch or iPad to a computer with iTunes to download and install the update to connect. You need an Apple iOS developer account to get the latest beta of Apple's developer portal though.

New Virtual Keyboard for BlackBerry Torch 9860
You wait for the arrival of the BlackBerry Torch 9850 and BlackBerry Torch 9860, you must see this video, which is taking the other side of 9860, showing off the hardware and run through the software.
You can see the new virtual keyboard in portrait and landscape modes. Keyboard looks easy to do the typing. I'm not a big fan of virtual keyboards, but I think this I can use with ease.

First, the numbering kernel system is the core of the open source operating system GNU / Linux. Earlier using three numbers.
Torvalds said the replacement of kernel number will not be a problem. "The bottom line numbering 3.0 only re-course, we did not do a KDE or Gnome-4-3 anything here," said Torvalds.
But others see the re-numbering the kernel numbers may give problems.
Linux 3.0 did the addition of backend storage for the Xen Hypervisor, renewal Btrfs file system, and an increase in drivers for a variety of graphics processors and peripherals.

"We did a watchful eye on this game - I think if you saw someone playing FIFA from a distance, you will not realize that he was playing games. There are still shortcomings in the shape of the face and stuff like that, but the form physical player, lighting and camera settings, all when viewed from a distance looks amazing. "

BlackBerry PlayBook: Leaked Android App Player brings Android apps
Research in Motion has been promising to launch an app soon that would allow anyone with the BlackBerry PlayBook tablet to run Android apps as well as native apps designed for the BlackBerry Tablet operating system. The company has yet to release the Android App Player to the public… but that hasn’t stopped someone from digging around the RIM servers and finding a download link.
Right now the Android App Player is still clearly a work in progress. There’s no “back” button, for instance, which is a big problem since many Android apps rely on this button for key functions. The folks at n4bb also report that performance is still rather slow as well.
Update: You can swipe left on the bezel on the bottom of the tablet to simulate a tap on the back button. You can also use the Android menu function by swiping down from the top. The App Player doesn’t just let you install Android apps on your tablet — it also provides an emulated Android environment. You an use the Android web browser, calendar, contact manager, and other built-in apps as well as any third party apps you install.
Since this is pre-release software there’s always a chance you could break something by trying it out. And don’t expect any support from Research in Motion if something goes wrong. But if you’ve been staring at your BlackBerry PlayBook tablet for the last few months wishing you could run Words With Friends on it, this may be the answer.
Or you know, maybe you should just wait until the Android App Player is officially released.
You can download the Android App Player directly from RIM’s servers and then side-load it on your tablet. If that link stops working you can also try these mirrors.
The folks at IntoMobile have posted a video showing how the Android App Player beta works on the tablet. You can check it out below:
Update: RIM has removed the original download link and advised people to wait for the official App Player to be released this later this summer. [Source: mobiputing.com]
SwiftKey X Android keyboard Available Free from Amazon (today only)
Last week the makers of the popular SwiftKey keyboard for Android released SwiftKey X – a new and improved app designed for phones and tablets. Today Amazon the smartphone version of SwiftKey X is Amazon’s free app of the day. The tablet keyboard still runs $4.99.
The keyboard’s claim to fame is its text-prediction system. While plenty of apps will try to detect the word you’re typing and show suggestions as you enter text, SwiftKey X takes things to the next level by guessing at the next word you’re likely to enter. This can make entering text on a tiny smartphone screen much, much faster.
SwiftKey X can also read data from your Facebook, Twitter, Gmail, and SMS apps to offer more accurate predictions.
The keyboard has a skinnable user interface so you can choose from light keys with dark letters and numbers, dark keys with light letters, or a skin based on the Google Android Honeycomb user interface with a neon blue glow.
In order to grab SwiftKey X while it’s free you’ll need to install the Amazon Appstore on your phone and then either click the “Get now” button on the Amazon website or within the Appstore app. [Source: mobiputing.com]

One million Apple OSX Lion downloads in first day
You told us a lot of you had already downloaded Lion, but now Apple's gone ahead and put any doubts about this $29.99 update's popularity to rest. A cool one million downloads of Lion have been registered in the first day of availability.
That's faster than any other OS release in the company's history, which lends perhaps a bit more weight to Apple's "best OS we've ever made" claim. Still on the fence yourself? Maybe our Lion review will push you one way or t'other. [Source: engadget.com]

Google+ app for iPhone now available [ready to download]
Google promised that iPhone users would soon be getting a Google+ app of their own, and it's now here. Not surprisingly, it looks a lot like the Android app, including views of your main stream and nearby users, sharing via Circles, and support for the Huddle group messaging feature. It's not a universal app, though, so iPad users are still left out for the time being, as are those with an iPod touch, for yet reasons unknown.
Update: Google's Punit Soni notes that there was a small issue that initially caused a test version of the app to to be served from the App Store. If you grabbed the app as soon as it was available (within the first hour and 40 minutes, specifically), you'll likely have to re-download it to get the current version (1.0.1.1809).

How to Enable Swipe Up [webOS 3.0]
Only for devices running webOS 3.0 and higher.
Although there is no gesture area on the Touchpad, HP kept the ability to swipe up from the bottom of the screen in order to minimize your app into card mode or launch the app launcher. If you have tried to swipe up but nothing happens, you may need to enable it first. To enable (or disable) just open up the "Screen & Lock" app, find the "Advanced Gestures" section, make sure that "Enable Gestures" is set to ON.
The swipe up can be done when the Touchpad is rotated in any screen direction, and will always be done from the "bottom" of the screen. However, note that for some PDK or older mojo apps, the "bottom" of the app may not be the same as the bottom of the screen rotation. This occurs because the app was built for a webOS phone that always had the same screen bottom and does not recognize the rotation of the device, or if you have set a rotation lock. When in doubt, you can always press the Home Button to minimize the app, too. [Source: precentral.net]

Zaarly Now Available for Android
Android users, say hello to Zaarly. For those not yet familiar with the peer-to-peer mobile startup, they’ve had a whirlwind year thus far. Built at hackathons and startup weekends over the first few months of this year, Zaarly took first prize at LA Startup Weekend in March, and soon thereafter raised a $1 million seed round from an impressive list of investors — Ashton Kutcher, Paul Buchheit, Lightbank, and TechCrunch founder Michael Arrington (see below), among them. In May, Zaarly launched nationwide and, in less than a month, crossed $1 million in posted transactions.
Occupying a similar space as TaskRabbit and Gigwalk, the web and mobile service seeks to connect buyers and sellers in a localized market place, reverse Craigslist-style, by allowing users to post what they’re looking for (beer, a massage, or an iPad), how much they’re willing to pay for said good or service, and how soon they need it. The startup then posts the request in the local community forum and allows users to share the request via Twitter and Facebook.
Sellers can then bid for the tasks users post, and buyers can then choose their preferred merchant or seller, with Zaarly facilitating the connection by way of an anonymous Twilio phone number. The service offers and integrated credit card payment system, which users can take advantage of — or pay cash.
The biggest selling point for Zaarly as a service has been the fact that it’s mobile-centric, offering a terrific mobile experience through free iOS and Facebook apps. A few weeks ago, in fact, Zaarly rolled out a few new features and was featured by Apple on iTunes.
For the last few months, the startup has been developing an Android app to further expand its mobile experience, and, today, the app has gone live in the Android Marketplace. Check it out. Zaarly for Android has much the same experience that its iOS users will be familiar with: Wedding singers will build custom tree houses, houses cleaned, websites designed, and the opportunities to ride in beautiful sports cars will present themselves.
The new, free Zaarly Android app will include signup from inside the app, an “Activity Tab” that tracks past, pending, and completed offers, and all Web and Android activity is synced so that users can switch between the web app and the Android app without losing any content or info.
The new app also allows users to message each other anonymously within the app, or via SMS if the app happens to be closed — and it archives all your conversations, too, which is a nice bonus. Users can browse local listings with a “Compass button”, and just as Zaarly users can do on the web app, listings can be posted for up to a week. (And a note for Android users, Zaarly’s app incorporates standard Android buttons, for example, the “back arrow button” can help users quit or go back and the “options button” allows users to view their activity, post a Zaarly, etc.)
The Android app release follows an announcement from Zaarly and CEO Bo Fishback yesterday that Zaarly is planning to crowdsource the location of its next offices. Zaarly has launched in cities like, NYC, Chicago, San Francisco, LA, Omaha, and Des Moines, but the startup is now going to follow each city on a leaderboard on its website, and the city that has the “most robust Zaarly community over the next few months” will become the site of Zaarly’s regional headquarters.
Currently, over $1.6 million has been posted on Zaarly, and one of the reasons that Zaarly has been able to attract so much activity so early on in the game, Fishback says, is that the service has resisted just becoming something where “people run errands for you”. The CEO says that the team has been seeing all kinds of surprising posts, although, perhaps unsurprisingly, he surmised that about 7 percent of Zaarlys involve an apple product of some kind. But, that being said, couches, bikes, and cars have all been put up for grabs as well, so the product offerings remains diverse. And sometimes weird. [Source: techcrunch.com]

How to install TouchWiz on the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1
Samsung is expected to roll out a software update for the Galaxy Tab 10.1 tablet soon. It will add Samsung’s TouchWiz software which includes a number of visual enhancements, a new app tray, a more useful Quick Panel, and custom apps including a Social Hub, Readers Hub, and an enhanced calendar app.
While TouchWiz isn’t yet available in the US, it turns out that the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 is already shipping with the software preloaded in Italy.
Now members of the xda-developers forum have figured out how to extract the TouchWiz software and install it manually. That means you can run TouchWiz today, without waiting for Samsung to roll out the update.
The process is a little complicated. If you’ve never rooted an Android device or flashed a custom software update or custom ROM, you might want to hold off. In fact, you might want to hold off anyway, since the fact that TouchWiz is already shipping in Italy means it will probably be available in the US soon as well. But if you just can’t wait to try it out, hit up xda-developers for instructions.
You can check out an Italian video showing off TouchWiz below, as well as an official Samsung video demonstrating many of the tablet’s features including TouchWiz and other new software. [Source: liliputing.com]

WP 7 Mango : YouTube video playback & fast Tabs switching
I’m discovering interesting things in the Mango Beta 2 even after nearly 2 weeks of daily usage, nothing groundbreaking but still interesting. Firstly, Mango no longer requires the YouTube plugin “app” to playback embedded YouTube videos. But there’s a catch, the videos must be embedded with the new iFrame code and not the old code…one. If the required Iframe code is detected by the browser user will see the YouTube video correctly show up on the webpage and will be able to watch it by taping twice on it. This will then launch the OS’s native video player (not a mediaelement control like the previous solution) and stream the video in what appears to be 480P MP4 format even when using the cellular network connection (finally!). The YouTube plugin will still be required if the video is embedded with the old code. Check it out n the my short video after the break:
There’s one thing that currently bothers me in Mango: the new Internet Explorer UI. Sure it’s nice to finally have it available in landscape mode and the URL is now easily reachable. But requiring three taps to switch tabs or hit the favorites is IMO counterproductive. Thankfully there a small trick to easily jump from one tab to another: using the task-switcher by longer-press the back button. Simple right? Well it took me a while to realize that. Mango handles every IE tab as if it’s a new application running in the background so when you jump into the task-switcher view every one of them is there. You will still have to go to the regular tabs screen to create a new tab though. [Source: mobiletechworld.com]
