I’ve spent the last week or so with the WiFi-only version of Samsung’s Galaxy tab 10.1 and have been thoroughly impressed with the device thus far. If you’ve been eyeing the Tab 10.1 but have your heart set on the LTE version to land on Verizon soon, we’ve got some great news for you.
Verizon has launched a splash page that, in addition to providing general information about the tablet, allows users to preorder the Tab 10.1. The splash page indicates the Tab 10.1 LTE will ship in 4-6 weeks, meaning it’ll be the end of July/beginning of August before you’re able to get your hands on this bad boy. But it will certainly be worth the wait.
The Tab 10.1 comes in 4 flavors:
Gray Backing
16 GB – $529.9932 GB – $629.99White Backing
16 GB – $529.9932 GB – $629.99It is worth noting that in order to preorder the Tab 10.1 at these prices, you’ll need to commit to two full years of data service. If you want the LTE-enabled tab sans contract, you’ll need to shell out an extra $100. ($629.99 for the 16GB model and $729.99 for the 32GB one).
If you’d like to preorder what could very well become the first LTE-equipped Android tablet (take that, Xoom owners), head over to Verizon’s splashpage for more details.
