The Sholes is rumored to be heading to the United States on Verizon Wireless
Verizon has long said it would deliver an Android phone eventually but was never concrete on the date. That trend will continue as there are still no solid details about pricing or availability.
It’ll be exciting to see how the Sholes and Morrisson help Motorola. The company announced today that it performed better than expected and in fact made money this quarter. That came of huge layoffs and cost-cutting, but I’m sure they’d rather smile about profits because of two winning products.

To T-Mobile Starting August 12th with HTC Touch Pro2

The HTC Touch Pro2 is now more popular Windows Mobile 6.1 device in the European markets and in North America via the devices unlocked GSM counterpart. Now reports are giving the device an August 12th 2009 release date on the T-Mobile USA network.

The Touch Pro2 features a large and crisp 3.6 inch WVGA display that offers Touch Flo 3D technology, alongside a 3.2 megapixel camera. It even offers…gasp…3G via the T-Mobile AWS network, an option sorely missed on many current T-Mobile cell phones.

The Touch Pro2 also features a full sliding qwerty keyboard, built-in GPS with a Sirf III processor, a MicroSDHC card slot, and the newest HTC option “straight talk” which creates super crisp speakerphone reception.

No word on pricing at this point, however we do know that the phone will come in a “Mocha” color, “sorta brown and metallic but not really” that’s industry speak...

Apple Silents About iPhone Complaints

Always Apple does a poor job of sharing details about its technology and is sometimes slow to respond when such complaints arise or Apple's respons.
Last big three gripes of Apple: the iPhone 3GS battery life is dismal, the 3GS overheats, and there's a serious SMS vulnerability.



The major complaint concerns is short battery life, which is ironic since Apple touted improvements of the iPhone 3GS battery at its Worldwide Developers Conference last month. Among those claims, Sometime Apple said the iPhone 3GS would deliver 9 hours of use on Wi-Fi, 10 hours of video playback and 30 hours of music on a single charge-about a 30 percent upgrade to the iPhone 3G. Indeed, the iPhone 3GS battery is physically a little bigger than the one in the iPhone 3G.But the true things is there device does not work properly.

An Apple spokeswoman told the LA Times that battery life is highly dependent on usage-so if you don't change your usage pattern from the old iPhone 3G, then performance shouldn't change either. It was a lukewarm response to a potentially serious problem, analysts say. "The battery is the first concern because it could be potentially dangerous," Dulaney says, "and we have no clue, except for some dos and don'ts, why it's happening."

This one runs on Windows XP and Vista The jailbreak presumes that your iPhone runs with OS 3.0 and that you have the latest version of iTunes The author warns that the Jailbreak is a beta, so do a full backup before running it just to be safe. Obviously, do this at your own peril, as this is clearly not supported by Apple. Lets try it!!

Dell Snafu:Only $15 Instead of $148 140000 Monitors Sold

Dell has been done costly snafu in Taiwan: A promotional deal went online with the wrong price of $15 for a monitor.
WOW!! Just about eight hours, 26000 customers ordered 140000 monitors.
The Taiwanese regulators are now saying that Dell has to fulfill the order, which is standard procedure I guess. The original price was intended to be around $150.
After Dell changed the pricing, 471 grievances have been filed and Dell will successfully have to use the $15 price for clients who have prepared a single monitor. For the others, Dell will have to apply a unfathomable discount.
