The use of FaceBook in some countries declined
FaceBook indeed, is a phenomenon in almost all over the world, and has been played by many people around the world. However, are there some of you who are tired with Facebook? Bored? Even the fear of leakage of your privacy? In fact, you probably already do deactivate your account? You are not alone.
Whether the fear of leakage of privacy or just bored, 100,000 British people have done deactivate the account in the last month. In the United States, the country's biggest users of Facebook users up down from 155.2 million to 149.4 million in May, finished nearly 6 million people who quit. In Russia and Norway the figure was down to 100,000 people. Actually the situation is still not too bad for Mark Zuckerberg and his friends. Facebook is still growing, especially in developing countries such Mexico and Brazil.
According to Eric Eldon from the website of Inside Facebook: There is a turning point where a site can not grow larger. When up reaching about 50 percent of the total population in a country, growth usually slows down until it stops. So the proverbial up already reached saturation point, like Friendster and My Space. Are you still diligent playing Friendster?
Regarding fears of privacy, founder of Wikileaks Julian Assange even suggested that Facebook is the machine most terrible spy. Face recognition feature that automatically do the tagging of the photos are also considered to be scary for some people. In addition, we often hear about the misuse of your account up to work on up to blackmail people. And of course some stories that have been common as companies fired employees because they lack proper status update or get caught lying, couples who split up due up, the house that was robbed because of the status updates and holiday home owners are declared vacant house and various other stories.
