Every year more than 12 billion pounds of chicken are used by consumers in the country. The wasted feathers are mostly turned into low-grade animal feed in most parts of the country. In America, professor Manoranjan Misra from University of Nevada has successfully developed a method of generating bio-diesel fuel from chicken feather meal.
