Nokia N9-00, the first smart phone MeeGo, may be terminated prior to its release.

Nokia as quoted by Reuters, said to have ended the development of the first smartphones that use the new operating system MeeGo before ever launched, according to industry sources close to the company. But a spokesman for Nokia declined to comment on.

It is evident that MeeGo software platform, which was created last year the beginning of the merger Nokia and Intel (INTC Nokia O.)-based Linux platform Maemo and Moblin have not seen as a powerful weapon in the battle of Nokia against Apple and Google in high-end smartphone market. Analysts said Nokia was able to demonstrate the device next MeeGo, even if not finished, then at this week's investor day in London on Friday or a press conference in Barcelona on Sunday.
