Sales of the iPhone is increasing, so Apple's profits swell

No wonder Apple is so dear to the iPhone apparently this one product that contributes the greatest revenue for the company is headed by Steve Jobs. Over the last 3 months (December 26, 2010 - 26 March 2011), Apple is rumored to have obtained a total of 24.6 billion dollars in revenue and the iPhone contributed half of the total.

Half Apple's revenue last 3 months apparently recorded by the iPhone and other products related to the iPhone. Apple has sold 18.65 million of iPhones in the last quarter and posted a 12.3 billion dollar revenue division just for the iPhone only.

In addition to hardware products included in the iPhone division include: product-related services,official Apple accessories, third-party accessoriescontracts with operators, etc. Revenue is still beyond the revenue from the Apple application store into iTunes revenue category, revenue iPod Touch, and income iPad.

When you look at the history of statistics, the iPhone looks to be an increasingly important factor every the quarter. In the fourth quarter financial report of 2010, the iPhone took 33% later part in the first quarter of 2011 increased to 39%.

Maybe this is what makes Apple so hard to maintain and protect its products from competitorsincluding Samsung, which recently has been sued by Apple because of suspected copying the iPhone.
